Supernova Cat: A Haiku

Here is a photo I took recently of our beloved cat Bebe.

Below is a haiku inspired by the photo. Please share a haiku that comes to you as you view the photo. (A traditional haiku is 3 lines: 5 syllables, 7 syllables and 5 syllables.)

    Two steely blue eyes

    Buried in furry landscape

    Disturb with great care

This is what I imagine the elegant Bebe might say to Cowboy or Flash:

    You touch my food, dude,
And swift will be my wrath’s sting.
    Don’t forget! I rule.

Nancy, you understand Bebe well. She is the sweetest of cats, becoming more and more affectionate. Just don’t get between her and her food!

  3. J says:

    Calm contented gaze
    in embracing sunlit stole
    furry beingness.

  4. Stephanie says:

    Oh holy moment!
    Prayer deliciously answered
    Mouse treat ahead, thanks.
