Mindful Photography: The Art of Seeing the World with Fresh Eyes (A Thee-Week Series)
To become more fully alive and whole requires an ability to see the ordinary with a sense of wonder and gratitude. Our mundane lives then take on a sense of beauty and limitless possibility. We can strengthen this ability with the practice of “mindful photography.” Through the lens of a camera, we will observe and take informal snapshots of ordinary objects at home, in nature, at work, and wherever we go using various experimental techniques. We will then observe our “quick pics” and explore together how we are starting to see the world with fresh eyes.
No photography experience is necessary. A digital camera (or smart phone) and Internet access are required.
